Jennifer Klein, Board President Loeb, Block & Partners
Jen graduated with a Bachelor of Arts from Harvard University in Classics, and received her J.D. from Columbia Law School. She is originally from Delaware, and has been in New York City since 2004 as both a student and tax attorney. She began her practice at the law firm of Simpson Thacher & Bartlett, and has recently joined Loeb, Block & Partners. Jen has been a runner since middle school and relies on her daily run as an opportunity to de-stress, daydream, and challenge herself all at once. She is thrilled to be a part of GOTR and is inspired by the program's success in cultivating confidence, independence, and healthy bodies and spirits in girls and young women throughout the city.
Alexis Phelps, Board Secretary
Alexis graduated with a Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science and a minor in Japanese Studies from the University of California San Diego and a law degree from Duke University. She was raised in the San Francisco Bay area but also lived in Thailand and Japan before moving to New York City in 1998 to pursue a career as a corporate attorney at the law firm of Willkie Farr & Gallagher. Opportunities then led to positions as in-house corporate counsel, first at Marsh & McLennan Companies, a professional services firm, and then at CKX, Inc., an entertainment content company. Alexis has enjoyed running and other sports since she was a young girl and they continue to play an important role in her life. She lives in Soho with her husband and twin son and daughter.
Tricia Hazelwood, Board Treasurer Credit Suisse First Boston
Tricia is a Managing Director of Credit Suisse First Boston in the Asset Backed Securitization Group, based in New York. She has responsibility for Asset Backed Syndication and Capital Markets. She joined CSFB in New York as a Vice President in July of 2000 from CSFB in Australia, where she had worked in the Investment Banking team since August of 1995. Prior to this, she worked at Salomon Brothers where she was an analyst in the mergers and acquisitions team. She holds a degree in Economics from the University of South Australia.
Suzane Taddei, Board Member Tiffany & Co.
Suzanne Taddei joined the Board of Girls on the Run Manhattan in 2010, after being involved since 2008. She believes in the importance of helping young girls build self-esteem and confidence during formative years of their life through the GOTR mission. Suzanne received her Bachelor's Degree from Villanova University in 1993.
Professionally, Suzanne has worked for Tiffany & Co. in New York City since 1996 in the Business Sales Division. As Director of Strategic Partnerships, Suzanne is responsible for Tiffany's Sports Sales and Marketing, as well as Tiffany's role in the incentive, recognition and loyalty industry. Tiffany is the maker of most major sporting events trophies such as the NFL Vince Lombardi Super Bowl trophy, the NBA Larry O'Brien Championship Trophy and Major League Baseball World Series Trophies, to name a few. Tiffany also designed and produced the New York Giants and New Orleans Saints Super Bowl rings. Suzanne's role is to oversee all elements of these partnerships and projects.
In addition to her role with Girls on the Run Manhattan, she sits on the committee for the March of Dimes Annual Sports luncheon and assists in raising money through sales and partnerships.
Suzanne's passion lies in travel and spending time with family and friends. Suzanne currently resides in New York City .
